Bolivia/Cochabamba
Cochabamba, Bolivia lies in a fertile valley at the foot of the Andes mountains. Elevation 8,000 feet above sea level. Its climate is considered one of the best in the world. Mild and pleasant. Warm, sunny days and cool nights.Over 400,000 people inhabit this city.
Cochabamba is considered an economically and progressively active city. Therefore, many indigenous people, poor and uneducated, come from the countryside to seek their fortune. Unfortunately, many end up living on the streets. Without jobs, food, education and eventually without hope, many parents abandon their children to live in the homeless shelters of Cochabamba.
The Bolivian population is over 60% indigenous (Quechua, and Aymara) 30 percent mixed, and 15 percent pure Spanish Bolivian.
These are the forgotten children that inhabit the orphanages and homeless shelters.
